An event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of a popular car festival is set to be held in Bicester.

Hagerty has announced its third 2024 Hangout evening event to celebrate 10 years of its Festival of the Unexceptional.

The Hangout, open to anyone who drives a base-spec car - regardless of age - is taking place at the Hagerty Clubhouse, located in Bicester Heritage, on Tuesday, June 11.

Tickets will cost £5 per car and visitors are encouraged to bring friends and family along.

A selection of food and drink will be available, along with a first chance to see the new, 2024, Festival of the Unexceptional merchandise.

The car deemed to be the most unexceptional of the night will be awarded a detailing kit.

Mark Roper, managing director of Hagerty International, said: "2024 celebrates 10 years of the Hagerty Festival of the Unexceptional, and this pre-event party allows Festival of the Unexceptional fans to get the chance to get an early preview of the event merchandise, as well as hearing what cars will be in the concours, before anyone else."

The Festival of the Unexceptional celebrates everyday classic cars and showcases the ordinary classic cars of the 70s, 80s and 90s.

It remains the only event in the world that celebrates everyday cars in a traditional classic car concours setting and will take place at Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire on July 27.
