Blenheim Palace has been named among the UK’s favourite stately homes on social media platform TikTok.

The palace in Woodstock, originally known as Blenheim Castle prior to the 19th century, is the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough.

The Baroque building was constructed between 1705 and 1722, named after the 1704 Battle of Blenheim.

Architects John Vanbrugh and Nicholas Hawksmoor created the royal retreat in the centre of a large undulating park with the River Glyme running through.
