A new warning has been issued to Oxford city centre shoppers today.
Weekdays are not usually as busy as holidays and the weekends for shopping with most residents busy at work but many have flocked to the town centre on Wednesday.
Many have visited the Westgate Oxford shopping centre in the city centre due to it being half-term for local schools and the venue’s parking spaces have filled up fast this afternoon.

Shoppers have now been warned that the car park at Westgate is currently full.
A post on X by OxonTravel, a traffic account run by Oxfordshire County Council, said: “Westgate car park is full.
“The Westgate Oxford car park is now full.
"Please use your nearest Park & Ride: Thornhill - OX3 8DP, Redbridge - OX1 4XG, Peartree - OX2 8JF, Oxford Parkway - OX2 8HE and Seacourt - OX2 HP.”
