People considering renovating or building a new home will have the opportunity to talk to industry experts in Bicester next month.
‘Build It Live’ will be at Bicester Heritage on June 8 between 10am and 5pm and June 9 between 10am and 4.30pm.
Build It Magazine’s content director Chris Batesmith believes now is a good time to take on a DIY project.
He said: "It’s been a tough few years for household finances and, not surprisingly, many self build and home extension projects have been put on hold.
"But that’s about to change.
"A spate of good news for the economy means now is the perfect time to press the button and start making your dream home happen."
Visitors to Build It Live will have the chance to meet and interact with experts and exhibitors to gain first-hand advice about design, finances, securing a plot and gaining planning consent.
The show will also host a range of live talks and masterclasses covering a variety of topics.
Visitors can learn about project management, eco homes, basement conversions, and more.
There will also be an opportunity to learn about finding land, with a gallery of currently available plots in the region also available.
All this is included with an entrance ticket, which are now available on the event's website for £12 per person.
Children under 16 can enter for free with an adult.
