A DRIVER has avoided prison after causing the death of a man on the A420 in Faringdon.
Martin Madar, 35, was driving along the A420 on December 27, 2021 in a Mercedes Sprinter Van when he was involved in a fatal crash with Dale Young.
Mr Young died following the incident and Madar was charged with one count of causing death by careless/inconsiderate driving.

He pleaded guilty to the offence and on May 22 was sentenced to six months imprisonment, suspended by 12 months, at Oxford Magistrates' Court.
Madar, of Grebe Square, Upper Rissington, was also ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £154.
