Five arrests have been made after a man has been killed in a car crash.

An Audi A3 came to rest on its roof on Gravel Hill in Henley following a collision that involved no other vehicles on Tuesday, May 21 at around 11.10pm.

The driver, a man in his 20s, died at the scene.

Thames Valley Police made five arrests the following day in connection to the incident.

Two 17-year-old boys from Reading were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

They have since been released with no further action.  

A 25-year-old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A.

A 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specific controlled drug above the specified limit and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A.

A 22-year-old man from Reading was arrested 22 on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a license and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A.

All three men have been released under investigation.

“My thoughts remain with the family and loved ones of the man who died following the collision.

"The man’s next of kin has been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers.

“We are carrying out an investigation into the collision, and asking any witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage of the incident to please come forward.
