A SENTENCING date has been set for a man who has admitted to over 30 incidents of theft from a shop.
Steven McDonagh, 37, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on May 16 where he pleaded guilty to 31 counts of theft from a shop, two attempted thefts of a pedal cycle, one count of theft by finding and one count of possession of a Class A drug.

He appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday (May 28) where he pleaded guilty to a further three counts of theft from a shop.
The defendant was also in breach of a suspended sentence handed to him in February.
McDonagh, of Oaksview Park, Kidlington, was due to be sentenced on May 28 but it has been adjourned until June 20 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
