An annual village scarecrow trail has returned with this year’s theme being ‘favourite TV characters’.
The East Hagbourne village scarecrow trail first started in 2005 and this year has seen 25 scarecrows have been entered.
On the trail, you will see many familiar characters such as Bluey and Bingo, Mr Bean, E.T., Fireman Sam, Sherlock and ‘Straw-dia’” Winkleman from The Traitors.

Maps detailing the locations of each scarecrow can be purchased from the East Hagbourne Community Shop or The Fleur De Lys pub for £1, and at the end of the trail you can vote for your favourite entry.
As part of the event, which ends on June 9, the Hagbourne Action Group are holding tea afternoons in the church on June 2.
This year all profits will be shared equally between Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue and WaterAid.
