Justice in Motion, a theatre company dedicated to social change, is set to tour their latest production, 'CODE'.

The show, scheduled to swing by Aureus School in Didcot on July 3 and 4 at 5.30pm, tells a gripping tale that exposes how drug dealers get children into running their trade.

Amidst a whirlwind of physical theatre, dance, and hair-raising bike stunts, CODE unravels a ghastly narrative of youth exploitation.

Devised to throw light on the national menace of ‘County Lines’ drug , the initiative aspires to inform audiences, carers, and educators about signs of exploitation.

Prominent Sheffield-based rapper and actor, Marcus 'Matic Mouth' Smith, portrays a personal connection to the plot, while 14-year-old Esra Marmet makes her professional acting debut playing the protagonist, Nicky.

The performances herald a captivating introduction of impossible-to-ignore social issues, transforming awareness into art.

Alongside the tour, Justice in Motion will conduct a youth engagement programme in select locations.

Through parkour, movement, and theatre-making, at-risk youngsters will creatively explore the show’s themes, culminating in performances alongside the professional cast.

The UK government, through its County Lines Programme, confirmed the shut-down of more than 2,000 county lines in 2023, surpassing its 2025 target.

Funds for CODE are sourced from public funding, including the National Lottery through Arts Council England, the Garfield Weston Foundation, and The Anchor Foundation, with additional support from 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space and Oxford City Council.
