A PUB staff member has been charged after stealing over £1,500 in cash.
Alex Newcomb was caught stealing a total of £1,576 in cash from Brewers Fayre in Bicester between August 4, 2018 and September 10, 2023.
The former pub employee was charged with one count of theft by employee and pleaded guilty at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on May 2.

The 30-year-old, of Brunswick Street, Leamington Spa was given a community order.
He will need to complete eight days of rehabilitation activity and 100 hours of unpaid work.
Newcomb was also ordered to pay £1,576 in compensation.
There were no other orders for costs due to the amount of compensation the former employee will need to pay.
