THE sentencing of a man who has admitted to detaining a child unlawfully has been delayed due to further pending charges.
Mckinley Richards, 30, was due to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (May 23) for one count of detaining a child from a person having lawful control in Banbury.
The offence happened late last year and Richards pleaded guilty in the lower courts.

However, his sentencing was delayed as it was heard that Richards may face further charges of sexual communication with a child and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Judge Nigel Daly agreed to adjourn the case while the other charges are dealt with.
Richards, of Sidney Road, Daventry, is due back in court for a mention hearing on July
