AN elderly man is due to be sentenced for downloading indecent images of children.
Vincent Jordan, of HMP Ashfield, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (May 21) where he pleaded guilty to three counts of making an indecent image of a child and one count of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

The 63-year-old was caught downloading 37 Category A images, 75 Category B images, and 214 Category C images on April 12 last year in Oxfordshire.
He also failed to notify police he was in possession of a laptop on the same day despite his SHPO put in place in February 2021.
Jordan’s case has now been sent to Oxford Crown Court for sentencing on Tuesday, June 11.
