Plans to open a new cafe at a former Costa Coffee site have been put forward.
The former Costa Coffee site at 9 High Street in Kidlington is currently vacant after being redeveloped.
An application has been submitted to Cherwell District Council for planning permission to change the use from an empty building to a coffee shop which will serve hot food.

The opening hours would be from 8am until 11pm on Monday to Sunday including bank holidays.
A planning document reads: “Before the new redevelopment of the current building, the ground floor was occupied by Costa Coffee.
“Therefore, we believe that planning permission should be granted, considering that the building previously operated as a coffee shop.
“Additionally, the rear parking spaces is privately owned land.”
There is an existing Costa Coffee further down at 57 High Street in Kidlington.
