The UK's best cities to walk around have been named with Oxford topping the chart.
A study by Preply, which provides online language lessons, based the findings on the distance between major attractions, the time it takes to travel between them and the number of steps required.
It reveals it takes 2,310 steps to explore Oxford’s top five attractions in 22 minutes with a walking distance of 1.1 miles.

The attractions used were the Bodleian Library, Oxford University Museum of Natural History, Pitt Rivers Museum, Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, and the halls of Oxford University.
This is more than 1000 steps less than second-placed Brighton which takes 3,360 steps to visit the seaside city.
Third place jumps up to 5,000 steps needed to do York justice.
