A firefighter who was based at Didcot fire station has died at his home.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said it was informed yesterday that Jon Wright, a firefighter at Didcot Fire Station, had died at his home.
The fire service paid tribute to Mr Wright in a statement online confirming the news.

Chief fire officer at Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue, Rob MacDougall said: "We are devastated to share we were informed yesterday that Jon Wright, firefighter at Didcot Fire Station, has sadly passed away at his home.
"Our thoughts are with Jon’s family, his friends and his colleagues.
"During this very difficult time, we ask everyone to give Jon’s family, friends and colleagues space and time as we grieve and support one another. Thank you."
