Two food festivals in Oxfordshire have been named among the best in the UK.

Travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller published its list of ‘The best food festivals in the UK’ on Sunday, May 12.

Several locations featured on the list such as Edinburgh and Leeds but Oxfordshire managed to make the cut twice.

Blenheim Palace Food Festival in Woodstock was listed as one of the highlights when it comes to UK food festivals.

“UK food festivals don’t get much classier than this,” read the article.

“Each summer, chefs such as Raymond Blanc, Olivia Burt and Gurdeep Loyal set up camp in the shadow of Oxfordshire’s most exquisite country house for a weekend of feel-good food.

The Big Feastival held in Kingham near Chipping Norton at Blur star Alex James’ Farm also made the list.
