A town has gained a new network of safe places.
The safety scheme works by having registered locations, such as businesses and shops, that people can go to when they feel scared or at risk.
The existing network has expanded to include Bicester.
Thames Valley Police, Cherwell District Council, and the Cherwell Crime Partnership have collaborated for the scheme.
The official website for Safe Places lists participating locations where people can pick up communication aid cards that are used to ask safe place staff to help contact someone to pick you up.
Anyone can use this scheme, including nonverbal people, those with learning disabilities and those with speech impairments, among others.
