CRAIG RANDS, 35, of Conway Road, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order made at Oxford Family Court on May 25 last year by communicating with a woman on September 2 last year that he was prohibited from doing. He was given a community order to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and 15 days of rehabilitation activity. There were court costs of £300 and a victim surcharge of £114.
SIMON TALBOT, 34, of Liddell Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on December 3 last year in Oxford causing a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. He also pleaded guilty to one damaging a windscreen and wing mirror of a Kia Ceed to the value of £284 and one count of assault by beating. He was given an 18 week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. He also needs to abstain from alcohol for 42 days and complete 30 days of a specified programme. £284 in compensation was also ordered and 80 hours of unpaid work. There were no orders for costs.
CHARLIE CARTER, 18, of Courtenay Road, Wantage, pleaded guilty to driving while using a mobile phone on August 16 last year at the Milton Interchange, Milton. He was disqualified from driving for 28 days and fined £106. There were court costs of £90.
KEVIN WARNER, 29, of Luther Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to four counts of failing to surrender to court/police bail on February 1, February 16, March 9 and April 11 this year as well as stealing £66.75 of alcohol from Tesco in Oxford on November 27 last year. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £66.75 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.
PATRICK BRIERTON, 41, of Ascot Way, Bicester, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class A drug, cocaine, in Bicester on March 2 this year as well as one count of possession of a bladed article, namely a knife with a locking mechanism. He was fined £100 and given a community order to complete 12 months of drug rehabilitation and 12 days of rehabilitation activity. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
JOHN ARGYLE, 40, of Luther Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to one count of theft from a shop after stealing £117.25 of groceries from Iceland in Banbury on March 4 this year. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months. There were no orders for costs.
LEE ADLAM, 43, of Molesley Road, Hersham, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Buckingham Road, Bicester on October 27 last year as well as driving without third-party insurance and driving without a licence. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £80.
TORELL PHILLIPS, 23, of Parr Close, London, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B drug, namely herbal cannabis, in Didcot on April 7 this year. He was fined £466 and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs.
