A YOUNG food delivery driver has died after being struck by a train in Coombe, near Witney.
Joseph White, 21, of North Leigh, died on April 28 this year after being struck approximately three quarters of a mile north of the Coombe Station.
British Transport Police verified his death at 10.10am. He was last seen to move onto the railway line before being struck.

An inquest opened at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Wednesday (May 8), heard that Mr White’s medical cause of death has been provided as ‘massive head trauma’.
The circumstances surrounding his death have not yet been discussed in open court.
Senior coroner Darren Salter has set a date for the full inquest to take place at the same court on October 1 at 10am.
