AN inquest has opened into the death of a software developer who was found dead at his home in Witney.
William Newport, 37, was found dead on April 26 this year at his home in Queen Emmas Dyke, Witney.
A police officer verified his death at 8.22pm.

He was a single man working as a software developer at the time of his death.
An inquest opened at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Wednesday (May 8), heard that Mr Newport’s medical cause of death has been provided as ‘hanging’.
The circumstances surrounding his death have not yet been discussed in open court.
Senior coroner Darren Salter has set a date for the full inquest to take place at the same court on September 17 at 10am.
