The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

MICHAEL EVANS, 59, of Spring Lane, Littlemore, was found guilty to one count of common assault in Kidlington on June 18 last year. He was fined £864. There was also a victim surcharge of £346.

AARON PYKE, 18, of O’Connors Road, Minster Lovell, Witney, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating in Witney on August 23 last year. He was given a community to complete 30 days of rehabilitation activity and 80 hours of unpaid work. There was also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

ALBIE O’SULLIVAN, 32, of Mayfield Gardens, London, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Wheatley on October 11 last year. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £200. There were court costs of £85.

BESSEM CHAOUCH, 40, of Bridge Street, Banbury, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly at Banbury Railway Station on April 18 this year. They were fined £100. There were also court costs of £40.

OMAR SEMLALI, 27, of Witney Road, Ducklington, was found guilty of being in possession of a Class A drug in Eynsham, namely a quantity of cocaine, on June 11 last year as well as one count each of driving without third-party insurance and obstructing/resisting a police constable in their execution of duty. He was given a community order to complete 90 hours of unpaid work and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. He was also disqualified from driving for six months. There were also court costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £114.

GARY COFFEY, 38, of Kenilworth Way, Banbury, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Oxford Road, Banbury on August 31 last year as well as driving without third-party insurance and driving without a valid licence. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and fined £500. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £250.

JAVIER RODRIGUEZ-MCDONALD, 18, of Emanuel Avenue, London, pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article in Oxford on April 19 this year. A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the knife and he was handed a six-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. There were court costs of £85.

KIERON TRIM, 37, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to stealing an unknown value of alcohol from a Co-Op store in High Wycombe on April 18 this year. He was fined £100. There were no other orders for costs.
