A FAMILY is appealing for witnesses after they were victims of a hit and run on the M40.
The husband and wife were travelling on the M40 northbound between junctions six and seven in the evening of Saturday, May 4.
They were about three miles away from the Welcome Break services when a white car crashed into the back of them.

“We believe it was a white car,” they said. “But with no lighting on that stretch of the motorway, the instant shock of the moment, everything went so fast.
“They did not stop and just continued to drive.”
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “We would appeal to anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area on Saturday evening to contact the force.
“You can call 101 or leave information on our website, quoting investigation number 43240206961.”
