A new nursery, Southmoor Little Angels, launched today: Tuesday, May 7, promising Southmoor, Abingdon families year-round daycare.
Designed for kids aged six months to four years, the facility features government-funded spots, with flexible enrolment options, including term time only.
The Little Angels Childcare Group, which runs the centre, repurposed a former children's building using a £35,000 grant from Oxfordshire County Council.
Councillor John Howson, Oxfordshire County Council’s cabinet member for children, education and young people’s services, said: "The new nursery in Southmoor will provide a safe and stimulating environment for young children, delivered by an experienced Oxfordshire childcare provider.
"I am very proud of this latest nursery project, part of Oxfordshire County Council’s ongoing commitment to provide the very best start for every child in the county."
Kaye Merriman, director of Little Angels Childcare Group, said: "We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new nursery in Southmoor, providing for the educational and developmental needs of young children.
"With a focus on providing a nurturing and enriching environment, we are committed to offering high-quality inclusive education and care that fosters a love for learning."
