A woman from Oxfordshire is set to compete with the over-60s GB basketball team in the FIMBA European Championships in Italy this summer.
Wendy Murray, 66, from Stonesfield, is captain of the over-60s GB basketball team, which consists of 12 team members.
The team have been training since 2016 and members ages range from 60 to 73.
The XII FIMBA European Maxibasketball Championships run from June 21 to June 30 in Pesaro, Italy.
Maxibasketball is a high quality national teams programme for male and female players aged 35 to 55 plus years of age and is part of the Basketball England Talent Pathway.

The training sessions are often held in Manchester, with team members from 'all walks of life' travelling from as far as Denmark.
They have been training monthly and are now preparing last training session which will take place on Sunday May 18 at Carterton Leisure Centre, which Wendy said will be the 'last test' before the championships.

Wendy, who also plays for two local teams, Witney Diamonds and Oxford Diamonds, described the team as 'inspirational' and said the commitment from the team is 'just amazing'.
She said: “Wearing the vest is an honour and it’s great that we have got the opportunity to play at our age.
"We are very excited and want to bring gold home.
"We are proud to represent GB at a mature age.
"I would say to anyone wanting to start, the opportunities are there."
The over-60s GB basketball team is self-funded, and Wendy said they organise various fund raising events to help with the costs, kit and travel, and they are always open to donations and sponsorships.
