AN arrest warrant has been issued for a man suspected of being involved in the death of Tobias Bruce.

The 32-year-old, of Arthray Road, Oxford, was stabbed in Littlemore on February 25 this year and died three days later at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

His cause of death, provided in an inquest opening, was given as ‘multiple sharp force injuries’.

On April 22, a warrant for arrest was issued at Oxford Magistrates’ Court for Theodore Mullings-Fairweather, 34, of Dawlish Road, Birmingham.

The arrest warrant is on suspicion of the murder of Mr Bruce and the wounding of Brandon Day, 28, who was hospitalised on February 25 but has since been released.

Two other men have already been arrested in connection with the incident.

George Stephens, 27, of no fixed abode, was charged with one count each of murder and wounding with intent and Ryan Bryne, 24, of Hathaway Green Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon, was charged with murder and two counts of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.

A trial date has been set for September 30 this year with a time estimate of four weeks.

During a trial preparation hearing, it was heard that there is a ‘possibility of a third defendant’ but they are currently believed to be in Dubai.

It is unknown if this is related to Mullings-Fairweather.
