THOMAS CHAPMAN, 44, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to one count of theft from M&S in Oxford on April 13 after stealing £12 worth of wine, one count of common assault on the same day in Oxford, one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour with hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress on the same day, and one count of assaulting an emergency worker, namely a police officer on April 13. He was jailed for six weeks and ordered to pay £62 in compensation. There were no orders for costs.

HENSHAM DAHMANI, 31, of Dolphin Road, Slough, pleaded guilty to stealing a mobile phone in Oxford on April 14 this year. He was jailed for 28 weeks due to his ‘wilful and persistent failure to comply with a community order’. There were no orders for costs.

LOUISE GIBBONS, 41, of Duke of York Avenue, Milton, pleaded guilty to possession of a kitchen knife in Fitzwaryn Place, Wantage on March 7 this year. She was given a community order to complete 15 rehabilitation activity days. A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the knife. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

CARLY POYNTON, 43, of The Hampdon Building, Kidlington, pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker, a police officer, in George Street, Oxford on March 12 this year as well as one count of being in possession of a Class B drug, namely a quantity of cannabis, on the same day. He was fined £864 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation. A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £346.

DOMINIC JOFIRISI, 26, of Berkeley Road, Newbury, pleaded guilty to one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour with hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress on March 16 this year in Oxford. He was fined £100. There were also court costs of £85.

SCOTT GROVE, 27, of Longworth Close, Banbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving in High Street, Oxford on March 29 this year with 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by three months, and fined £461. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £184.
