Thousands of people flocked to Oxford city centre to celebrate May Morning.
Oxford City Council has confirmed that around 14,000 people turned out to see in the event on Wednesday morning.

The traditional celebration of the coming of Spring brought together Oxford's communities and people of all ages to enjoy dancing, singing and revelry.
This was down from the figure of 16,000 last year which was the highest attendance in six years as the event fell on a bank holiday.
