Chiltern Railways has been forced to cancel several services this morning in a blow to commuters.
The 8.30am service Oxford Parkway to Oxford train was cancelled due to a fault with a train.
Frustrated passengers reported that the next available 8.45am service was 'packed'.
And anyone hoping to catch the train to London this morning may be left disappointed.
Chiltern Railways said the 8:44am Oxford to London Marylebone was unable to call at Oxford, Oxford Parkway, Bicester Village, Haddenham & Thame Parkway or Princes Risborough.
Yesterday (April 29) the railway was closed between Bicester Village and Oxford after 10pm for planned late night engineering works.
A bus replacement connected with trains to and from Marylebone at Bicester North.
