A FORMER headmaster has died after suffering from a fall earlier this month.
Stuart Shaw, 92, was a former head of school who lived with his wife Myra, a school teacher, in Cirencester Road in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
At an inquest opening on Wednesday (April 25) at Oxford Coroner’s Court, it was heard that he was at John Radcliffe Hospital on April 15 recovering from a fall.

He had an operation previously but died at 8.10pm on the Monday. His wife and doctors verified him.
A medical cause of death has been given as acute subdural haematoma and a fall.
Senior coroner Darren Salter confirmed that a full inquest into Mr Shaw’s death will take place at the same count on July 8 at 12pm.
