A SENTENCING date has been set for a woman who pleaded guilty to assaulting her ex-husband.
Samantha Putt, of Washford Glen, Didcot, pleaded guilty to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, alleged to have occurred on April 9.

She pleaded at Oxford Crown Court on Wednesday (April 24). Her second charge of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour in a family relationship between January 1, 2018, and April 12, 2023 has been ordered to stay on the file.
The offences relate to her ex-husband Brian Newton.
The 28-year-old was due to stand trial on December 2 this year but instead pleaded guilty.
She will now be sentenced at the same court on May 24. She has been granted conditional bail.
