A DIDCOT man has pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman on several different occasions.
Dean Knott, 30, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Monday (April 22) for his first day of trial.

However, he instead pleaded guilty to one count of controlling and coercive behaviour between January 30, 2020 and October 31, 2022, and three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm which took place on July 27, 2021, November 28, 2021, and June 3, 2022.
Two further counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm were ordered to lay on the file as the previous pleas were acceptable to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Knott, of Nuffield Close, Didcot, will now be sentenced at the same court on July 4.
