A hay bale fire is being treated as arson with police looking to identify the landowners.
Fire crews were called to a large stack of hay bales alight close to Winter Lane in West Hanney last night (Sunday, April 21) at around 11pm.
Police closed the road in both direction as firefighters monitored the blaze throughout the night so it was a “controlled burn”.
