Oxford has been ranked as the fifth best city in the UK for a relaxing walk.
A recent study by Injury Claims examined more than 200,000 TripAdvisor reviews for parks across 74 major towns and cities.
The comments were analysed for keywords, including "calm", "peaceful" and "tranquil".
Oxford received an index score of 17.47 per cent with Christ Church Meadow, providing views of Christ Church College, being recognised as one of the city's most serene areas.
Hereford topped the rankings with an overall score of 28.88 per cent, influenced mainly by riverside walks around The Weir Garden.
Second was Bristol, which drew praise for its green spaces and woodlands, earning a score of 23.72 per cent.
Lincoln secured third with 21.97 per cent, largely attributed to the peaceful atmosphere of Hartsholme Park.
The park offers lakes, wooded areas, and trails.
Fourth place went to Milton Keynes, benefiting from Emberton Country Park, which received an 18.63 per cent score.
The park's Emberton Lake offers outdoor opportunities such as fishing and boating.
The other places to feature in the top 10 were Gloucester with 15.73 per cent, Swansea with 15.48 per cent, Carlisle with 15.43 per cent, Warrington with 14.71 per cent, and Newcastle upon Tyne with 14.65 per cent.
Each city offered walk locations including Robinswood Hill Country Park, Singleton Park, Bitts Park, Sankey Valley Park, and Jesmond Dene respectively.
