An Oxford business has been given the ultimate seal of approval by one of the stars of Dragons' Den.
The BBC television show has been running since 2005 and allows entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their business ideas to a panel of five wealthy investors.
One of these investors who has regularly starred over the programme’s run is former chairman of Millwall FC, Theo Paphitis.
The 64-year-old has now given his seal of approval to Oxford-based business Little Letterbox Learning which was endorsed on the former Dragon’s X account.
Sarah Woodward, the business owner, posted to Theo about her business during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and was one of six weekly winners to gain a repost by Theo.
This repost was to over half a million Twitter and Instagram followers and was part of the weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010.
As a result, Little Letterbox Learning has gained more followers and extra orders for their multi-sense children’s flashcards.
Sarah Woodward said, “I designed a take on the flashcard that’s multi-sensory based on my experience of being a mother in my wonderfully creative, neurodiverse household.
“It’s an amazing resource but it’s harder than ever right now for small businesses to raise their profile, it’s been tough.
“Having Theo recognise the passion and hard work I’m putting into my business is a huge boost!
“The support from him and the SBS family is going to open up so many opportunities and I cannot wait to see what’s next.”
