A cashier at a petrol station has been threatened with a weapon for cash from the tills.
A man demanded money from a cashier at the Esso garage on London Road in Chipping Norton at around 1.20am on Sunday (April 14).
When the man realised the cashier had sounded the alarm for help, he ran off in the direction of Albion Street.

Police describe the offender as a black man, aged in his twenties, at around 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, and of slim build.
He had short, curly hair and was wearing a mask, a black hooded top and slim trousers, say police
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the incident.
Investigating officer DS Stephanie Welsh said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to this attempted robbery.
“Anyone with information which could help our investigation, please call 101 or make a report via our website, quoting reference number 43240173577.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
