Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties has donated £250 to the Didcot Emergency Foodbank.
The donation has been given to aid those experiencing food insecurity in the area.
The food bank, located near to the housebuilder's Downland development in Wantage, offers urgent food supplies to individuals and families in Didcot and its neighbouring villages.
As part of the Didcot Baptist Church and St Matthew’s Church Harwell, the foodbank offers short-term relief to those in difficulty.
Deborah Evans, administrator at St Matthew’s Church Harwell, said: "We want to say a huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey for recognising the importance of Didcot Emergency Foodbank and the role it plays to help those in crisis.
"The donation will help the Foodbank to provide essential items to those who don’t know where else to turn."
Roz Wells, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, discussed the importance of such initiatives amid the cost of living crisis.
She said: "As the cost of living crisis continues, it can be a difficult time for many, so charities such as Didcot Emergency Food Bank are essential for ensuring local families and individuals have the support they need.
"We are delighted to be able to donate towards these causes to provide essential items to those in need during this difficult time."
