A young boy who got his arm stuck in a door while at school was rescued after firefighters raced to a city school.
Firefighters were called to St Joseph's Catholic School in Headington where five-year-old Dion had trapped his arm in a classroom door.
The crew from Rewley Road fire station used specialist equipment to release the pupil after being called to the school yesterday (Tuesday, April 16) at around 2.45pm.
After being freed Dion, whose arm was in a sling, posed with four firefighters who were called to the school to rescue him.
Firefighter for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue, Sam Thorne said: “Dion was extremely brave throughout the incident but looked very relieved to be released with a few bruises.”
