Six eateries in west Oxfordshire have been given the maximum score for food hygiene after inspections.
The Food Standards Agency has released new ratings for a number of establishments after inspections were carried out in February and March.
Bella Italia in Marriotts Walk in Witney and The Ditchley Foundation at the Lions Court in Enstone have both been awarded five stars for food hygiene.
A rating of five means hygiene standards are deemed to be 'very good' at the establishment.
The Cotswold Merrymouth Inn at Stow Road in Fifield near Chipping Norton, the Five Alls in Filkins near Lechlade and The Crown Inn at Woodstock have also been given ratings of five.
A takeaway was also inspected on March 13 and received the maximum score of five stars in this latest batch of results.
This was the American Pizza takeaway in Corn Street in Witney.
Ratings are a snapshot of the standards of food hygiene found at the time of inspection.
It is the responsibility of the business to comply with food hygiene law at all times.
The ratings can be found online and on stickers which are displayed at business premises.
The back of the sticker and the online rating will also show the date of the inspection by the local authority’s food safety officer.
A new rating is given each time a business is inspected by a food safety officer from the business’s local authority.
