AN Oxford man has admitted to raping a 15-year-old girl, a court has heard.
Anicet Mayela, 40, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday (April 11) charged with one count of raping a young girl.
It was heard that Mayela, of Desborough Crescent, Oxford, raped a girl between December 1 and December 31 last year.

Mayela spoke from the dock only to confirm his name and to enter his guilty plea.
He will now return to the same court for sentencing on Friday, May 10.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared. The Crown Prosecution Service asked for Mayela’s level of dangerousness to be assessed due to ‘the gravity’ of the offence.
Mayela will remain in custody until the hearing.
