Hollywood star George Clooney is set to visit Oxford today.
He and wife Amal will address the Skoll World Forum in the city on Friday afternoon which is a foundation set up in 1999 to build a sustainable world of peace and prosperity for all.
This year’s forum has been running since Tuesday this week and will conclude on Friday (April 12).
A spokesperson for Skoll said: “We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for virtual participation in the 2024 Skoll World Forum.

“Attending online from April 9–12 is free and includes access to plenaries and sessions with an inspiring line-up of speakers and hosts.
“We can’t wait for you to join us as part of the global community of social innovators and change makers who are coming together to explore solutions to the most pressing problems of our time.
This is not Clooney’s first time in the area though as the Hollywood actor met members of the Oxford University Women's Boat Club and Oxford University Boat Club in 2022.
The filmmaker attended their training session in Wallingford, South Oxfordshire.
