A YOUNG man has been sentenced after sexually assaulting a woman in Oxford.
Govand Ismaili, 27, was sentenced at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (April 10) for one count of sexual assault on a female.
The court heard that on September 8, 2022, Ismaili had sexually assaulted a woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, in Oxford.

He was handed a community order to complete 35 days of rehabilitation activity and was fined £623.
Ishamili, of Russell Craggs Lane, Wantage, was also ordered to pay court courts of £775 and a victim surcharge of £114.
Due to the nature of the offence, he was automatically made subject to the sexual offenders notification requirement register.
