The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

JAHIR ULLAH, 31, of Melbourne Avenue, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Thame on October 7 last year. He was disqualified from driving for three years and fined £200. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £80.

ANTHONY MILLER, 38, of East Street, Bicester, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching a non-molestation order made by Oxford Family Court on February 15 last year by sending an email to a woman he was prohibited from contacting on April 15 last year. He was fined £240. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £96.

TOM FIRTH, 35, of Blakes Lane, New Malden, pleaded guilty to damaging a mirror, bedding, carpet, cupboard doors, and room walls with blood to the value of £1,196.98 in Faringdon on July 28 last year.  He was ordered to pay £1,446.98 in compensation and was fined £373. There were court costs of £85.

ALBERTO DE ANDRADE-ABREU, 41, of Crisp Road, Henley, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating on September 12 last year in Henley. He was given a community order to complete six months of drug rehabilitation and 10 days of rehabilitation activity. He was fined £384. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

KARL KUHNE, 45, of Barton Road, Headington, pleaded guilty to causing harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening or insulting words/behaviour on August 25 last year in Oxford. He was ordered to pay £75 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.

JOHN PHILLIPS, 50, of Luther Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to one count each of pleaded guilty to causing harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening or insulting words/behaviour on March 30 this year, religiously/racially aggravated harassment on November 7 last year, possession of a Class B drug namely cannabis resin on November 7 last year, theft of a bottle of gin to an unknown value from a shop in Oxfordshire on the same day, possession of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, on March 30 this year at Abingdon Police Station, and damaging a police cell to an unknown value on the same day. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £450 in compensation. A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. There were no other orders for costs.

OLIVER CHENEY, 28, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to one count each of assaulting an emergency worker on March 31 this year in Chinnor, damaging an interior wall to an unknown vale on the same day, and three counts of breaching a restraining order made at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on April 14, 2021 by contacting a woman he was prohibited from contacting in March this year. He was jailed for 16 weeks. There were no orders for costs.
