A NURSING assistant who was found dead in her bedroom is suspected to have died from taking strong painkillers.
Alice Hobbs, 45, was found unresponsive in her room in Harcourt Road, Wantage on January 14 this year.
A neighbour had gone to check on her and called the emergency services. An officer pronounced her deceased at 9.08pm.

An inquest opening into her death took place at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Wednesday (April 2).
It was heard that her medical cause of death, after a post-mortem examination, was offered as tramadol toxicity with aspiration pneumonia.
A full inquest into her death will take place at the same court on July 16 at 10am.
