Neighbours have expressed strong concern that a brothel is operating within sight of a primary school.
The brothel in what a property website described as "an immaculate first-floor apartment with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms" is situated in Grandpont not far from St Ebbes Primary School.
A neighbour in the same block of flats, who did not want to be identified, said she has seen men male visitors entering and leaving the property as well as loitering in the area.
She said: "I first began complaining about the issue from a personal safety perspective.

"I have friends, however, with children at the school and this got me thinking that the rear bedrooms of the property overlook the school field.
"Until a fortnight ago the children had not been playing on the field due to the rain so I do not believe anything has been seen by the children so far.
"My concern, however, is as the field is used increasingly more over the summer the potential for something to happen increases.
"Similarly, with the number of different individuals hanging round the area, both managing and using the brothel, I again worry about that in such proximity to a school."
The woman said the police contacted her three months ago about the establishment.
She said: "The police were actually the ones to confirm my suspicions about the activities in the property.
"The police came round in early January apparently in response to a distressed phone call from the brothel.
"They spoke with all the neighbours in the apartment block and a week later returned saying they believed a brothel was being run out of the premises.
"The police since then have been multiple times and confirmed that the property is both a brothel and that the women working there are rotated around so the same women are never in the brothel for more than one week.
"As a consequence the police have been making regular checks on the property to confirm the circumstances of each new set of women that arrive each week.
"The local PCSO has been incredibly good at managing the situation."
Paying for sex in England is legal, as long as the person paid is over 18 and gives consent.
However, the sentence for running a brothel is up to seven years in jail and fines of as much as £5,000.

Many sex workers are also found to be the victims of trafficking or sexual exploitation.
The neighbour said she believes police have been trying to liaise with both the landlord and the letting agency to get the tenants evicted.
A spokesperson for Hamptons Letting Agency said: "Please be assured that we take such concerns very seriously.
"While we have not had any direct complaints, we are continuing to monitor the situation closely.
"The matter is being investigated and as a result we cannot provide any further comment."
