The task force posted a statement on Thursday after locating the stolen trailer but did not reveal the details about the investigation taking place.
The exact location of the trailer was also not disclosed.
A police spokesperson said: "PC Little seized this trailer which is suspected to have been reported stolen in 2019. The trailer was located in South Oxfordshire.
"This forms part of an ongoing investigation.
"We advise keeping records of serial numbers as this makes items easier to ID if stolen."
