A SENTENCING date has been set for a man charged with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
David Hunt, of Bampton Road, Clanfield, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (April 2) charged with three counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child in Kidlington between October 28, 2018 and January 29, 2019.

The 35-year-old was also charged with possession of an extreme pornographic image involving a dog and possession of an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child on January 30, 2019 in Kidlington.
Hunt is now due to appear in the same court for sentencing on May 1. He could be faced with a six month prison sentence or a fine for the offences.
