THE death of a 73-year-old at a nursing home is being investigated by a coroner after he was found struggling to breathe.
Richard Buckley, a retired medical sales rep, died on March 13 at the John Radcliffe Hospital after it was reported by carers he was found struggling to breathe at Burford Nursing Home.
The emergency services were called and he was rushed to the hospital but he could not be resuscitated.

A post-mortem examination was carried out and his medical cause of death was given as choking, dementia, and hypertensive and ischaemic heart disease.
He was identified to paramedics by Burford Nursing Home staff.
A full inquest into his cause of death will take place at Oxford Coroner’s Court on July 11 at 10am.
