A TRIAL date has been set for six men accused of causing grievous bodily harm to a man in Wantage.
Thomas Bound, 21, Jedediah Burns, 21, James Farm, 27, Jamie Dawson, 20, Adam Smith, 24, and Thomas Smith, 21, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (March 28) each charged with section 18 – grievously bodily harm with intent to Ahmed Chaouqi-Chemourek in Wantage on September 18, 2022.
All six men are also charged with one count of affray. A seventh defendant, James Smith, 19, is also charged with affray.

All defendants pleaded not guilty to the count of section 18. Dawson pleaded guilty to an alternative count of section 20.
They all, except Dawson, pleaded not guilty to the affray account.
A trial date has been set for March 31 next year.
