The winner of an award handed out annually by Oxford Art Society has been announced.
Peter Keegan has won the selectors prize at the society's members exhibition.
Mr Keegan said he is "delighted" to have received the accolade for his painting, ‘Harper and the Martyrs’ Memorial Pigeons’.
He said: "Delighted to say my painting ‘Harper and the Martyrs’ Memorial Pigeons’ has won."
The exhibition is open daily from 11am to 6pm at The Kendrew Barn Gallery at St John's College, Oxford.
The exhibition opened on March 23 and will run until April 7, with admission being free.
