The lord mayor of Oxford has shared a message on behalf of Oxford for Princess Kate Middleton following the news she is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer.
Revealing her diagnosis in an emotional video message, the Princess said it had been an "extremely tough couple of months".
The future Queen was admitted to hospital for abdominal surgery on January 16 and at the time her condition was thought to be non-cancerous but tests after the successful operation found cancer, the type of which has not been disclosed.

Lubna Arshad, lord mayor of Oxford, said: "On behalf of the residents of Oxford, I extend our deepest love and support to Princess Kate of Wales as she begins her proactive chemotherapy journey.
"Your courage and strength are a beacon of inspiration for us all.
"We stand with you every step of the way, knowing that you possess the fortitude to overcome any challenge.
"You've got this, Princess Kate!"
